Manned Cloud
Imagine yourself cruising the clouds at 130 m.p.h. while staffing the reference desk in the library of the world’s first luxury air hotel… French designer Jean-Marie Massaud is bringing this dream to life! His Manned Cloud airship hotel will accommodate 40 guests (+15 staff members) and as Massaud puts it: “permits man to explore the world without a trace: to re-experience travelling, timelessness and enhance the consciousness of the beauty of the world.” The air hotel will feature a bar, sun deck, restaurant, 20 rooms, and best of all, a library (or would it be called a “flibrary”?)! The airship will begin construction soon and is under development with ONERA, the National Aeronautics Research Center of France. Look for the job posting to arrive in your inbox–see you in the skies!
